What people and culture services do you NOT provide?
We are not a talent acquisition agency nor are we experts in employment law, industrial relations, Health and Safety, wellbeing or more complex remuneration strategies.
However, we have an extensive network of contacts and partnerships and are always happy to discuss your needs and then connect you to our trusted capable partners.
What size companies do you work with?
We are best suited for companies that have 30 - 1000 people. We find that our capabilities most often align best to the needs of organisations of this size.
However, our client base ranges from clients with 2-15,000 people, where we provide our expertise and support in differing ways to meet their needs.
Do you only work in certain sectors?
No, we are completely sector agnostic. Our expertise is transferable across industry types and our engagement model focuses on developing a deep understanding of each client, hence we are highly adaptable.
Do you only work in Australia?
Whilst we are lucky to be based in Sydney, we work across Australia and internationally. Our current client base extends across Australia, New Zealand and into the USA and UK. We have extensive experience working globally in our corporate careers. Through our partners we have also undertaken work across Asia.

How long is a typical engagement?
Our engagements vary based on the nature of the work. From less than a month for leadership assessment activities and simple offsite facilitation, through 3-4 months for survey projects.
With larger organisations and more comprehensive solutions in the areas of leadership team effectiveness, leader and manager development programs, technology change projects and coaching our engagement extends to between 6 and 18 months.
We also offer fractional and interim Chief People Officer and Integration Manager services which may be up to 12 months in duration.
Do you offer any specific skills training offerings?
As a rule we focus on our strength of building manager and leader capability and team effectiveness. However, given our ability to design and ‘curate’ programs and our network of partners, we develop training programs targeting specific skills.
Recent examples include program development for:
- Non-Executive Directors on evolving non-financial risks
- Sales skills
- Negotiation skills.
Do you offer retained and fractional HR consulting services?
We recognise that in some situations, it may make sense for a company to engage strategic HR support in a part-time capacity when they are not at a sufficient scale to hire full time.
Engaging us on a fractional basis allows us to quickly come up to speed with your business and your team, then focus on your highest value people challenges while your inhouse team or outsourced HR providers support your operational HR needs.
In addition to fractional HR services, we may also offer a retained HR support model if we feel it will provide you with the right approach to meet your needs.
What is the cost structure for your services?
Our cost structure is tailored to your individual business needs and the scopes we work with differ greatly.
The investment in our services depends on factors such as the complexity of the engagement whether and what surveys and assessments used, the type of workshops that may be included, and any additional customized features you may need.
For more off the shelf services - such as assessments and surveys - we offer fixed pricing for ease of decision making.For more consulting based offerings, we provide our clients detailed, personalized and modular quotes that align with their objectives.
We will typically charge a fixed rate based on the expected time to complete the assignment. We find that this provides appropriate transparency and confidence for our clients.
